Over six million people are currently living in Ukraine as internally displaced persons. This is a major challenge, especially for children: Many children can only attend school online, as the schools in western Ukraine cannot accommodate all the internally displaced schoolchildren. Libereco therefore launches a laptop donation campaign in Switzerland and Germany.

Providing equipment for online lessons in the upcoming school year

In order to avoid gaps in education and to enable children to have an everyday life despite flight and war, we want to provide internally displaced children and teachers with technical equipment for online lessons. These devices will enable teachers and students who have fled from war-torn areas to western Ukraine to take part in online lessons in the new school year starting in September.

Libereco collects laptops for online teaching in Ukraine

We are therefore asking for laptop donations for online teaching in Ukraine. Libereco will take care of transporting the laptops to Ukraine, where our partner organization Vostok SOS will hand them over to the teachers and students.

Labdoo erases data from device and equips it with software

For the donation campaign, we are teaming up with the Swiss association Labdoo. It specializes in providing educational institutions in Switzerland and abroad with laptops and giving them access to IT and digital education. The members of Labdoo professionally erase the data from your device and then equip it with the necessary software.

Technical requirements for donated laptops
